Thank you Xiaban.com! I decided to check this Japanese/Taiwanese restaurant out because it was the most popular Japanese restaurant on the web site. Wow! All I can say is that this was a perfect night out.

After a long day's of work on Friday, I decided to check out this seaside dive with a coworker. We arrived a bit too early -- 6pm -- but this place really gets popular around 7pm and the BBQ gets served at 7:30pm. As a consequence, we decided to hold our appetites and take a pleasant stroll next to the neighboring golf driving range and beach until dinner was ready. I highly recommend that you reserve some time to do the same if you visit this restaurant.

When we returned, we were greeted by a beautiful nighttime outdoor experience on a warm summer night. A pretty pianist was performing popular Chinese and English pop songs in the middle of the open-air restaurant and we arrived just in time for BBQ.

The food is decidedly simple and natural -- we ordered sweet yams (straight from the open fire pit!), BBQ chicken legs (also from a fire pit), tuna sashimi, and a full BBQ chicken (different from the chicken legs). All were delicious, especially the sweet yams and bbq chicken legs. Nothing too fancy in preparation, but who needs fancy when it's all so delicious!

This place gets my highest recommendation -- If it's a warm summer night and you have a group of friends who want to hangout, drink beer and eat some great BBQ, this is the place for you!
