born in la, moved to maryland when i was 5, then back to california to go to college. joined one of my best friend\\\'s company in xiamen (china). spending most of my time in china lately. lots of changes in my outlook on life, the universe, and everything over the past few years. abc, but my chinese ain\\\'t that hot. super high metabolism, though it\\\'s starting to slow down. look young, feel old. while driving, the guy in your rearview mirror singing at the top of his lungs to himself (think office space). highly optimistic. believe strongly in karma and the golden rule. agnostic. not interested in politics. tend to assume the best in people. oblivious to sarcasm and jokes. feel that life is too short; felt that way for as long as i can remember. if you\\\'re not happy where you are, do something about it. take the road less travelled. afraid of heights, speed, and the supernatural. wish i could fly like superman. left handed. obsessive compulsive. very neat. drink socially, but don\\\'t smoke or do drugs; i don\\\'t trust my willpower if i start. poor willpower, but strong ideals - which unfortunately can result in hypocrisy. pick things up quickly, but also quickly lose interest in things. bad at keeping in touch. lazy, but ambitious. overpowering conscience. can\\\'t cheat or tell lies at all. introspective. care too much about what other people think. shy and aloof with strangers. yet if i\\\'m in a club and a song i like comes on, i will be the first one on the dance floor. want to be popular. want to be in a band, be in a movie, write a book, create a game, and more -- if only there was enough time to do it all! try to push people to reach their potential. nerd leader. want to be the nice guy that doesn\\\'t finish last.

Java Romas is the only place I know of in Xiamen that serves American style breakfast -- eggs, toast, bacon, ham, etc. So, whenever I feel the need to eat some breakfast I go there. you know this was the only place I could find that served food like I get back home.Sorta makes me feel homesick.hehe.coffee was great, have not found good coffee outside shanghai until now.chairs were comfortable, and it was a nice atmosphere.

I think the only thing distinctive about it is the number of foreigners and the fact that they have American breakfast. Other nearby coffeehouses are better decorated and more comfortable and have comparably good coffee and food and pricing.

hehe,probably the DJ is a rookie .Looking insightfully ,DJ in china is a new occupation,lacking of some necessary training.The level is very low compared with USA and other developed counties.But it is sure that this club need to improve their management.To satisfy the clientele is the fundamental credendum to operate in entertainment for a merchant

What\'s a long comment.But it\'s the most detailed and particular remark i have read.The bar you commented i haven\'t gone and never will,because i think the DJ is of upmost importance for a bar.through your remark,i feel this bar should kick out the DJ you have criticized.Compared with this one,i think KK and NASA is better in music design,where the Dj is more responding and will take some time to interact with the dancers.

The interesting thing is that KFC and Pizza Hut are now owned by the same conglomerate (Yum! Brands), but they\'ve managed to diversify their brands in China much better than in the U.S.. In fact, I would say they\'re kicking ass in China compared to the U.S.. Now they just need to bring their last two brands over -- Taco Bell and Long John Silvers (although I\'m not sure how Xiamen people would react to tacos and fish sticks).

Came here a while ago with some co-workers. Lots of ex-pats roaming around. The food was pretty good. The mojitos we ordered were decent as well. Pricing was about what you'd expect for a restaurant catering more to foreigners.
